Okay, so you've probably read the title of this blog and though, huh? A surprise intimate wedding? How does that happen? Well my friends, that is a good question. Victoria and George set their own standards when it comes time for their wedding day and even though it wasn't your traditional start of your big day, it was still just as beautiful.
The PUBLIC Hotel NYC
It was a beautiful September day, when Victoria and George had their engagement party at the PUBLIC Hotel in the stunning NYC. The PUBLIC Hotel ties in a refined , modern and sophisticated look and honestly is the epitome of luxury. Not only that, but the views from the rooftop of the PUBLIC Hotel is to DIE for, which obviously was a major plus for this occasion.
Rooftop Engagement Party
We started off this amazing day by taking some solo portraits of Victoria and George. Victoria was wearing this absolutely INSANELY beautiful two piece suit that had me quite literally needing to catch my breathe any chance I got. Both of them looked absolutely stunning, beautiful and any other adjective you can think of for drop-dead gorgeous. With the stunning back-drop of the city behind us, it was just the perfect start to the day.
Surprise Intimate Wedding in NYC
Now here is where things got a bit interesting, this wasn't just your run of the mill engagement party. In fact, it was quite the opposite. This engagement party actually turned out to be Victoria and George's surprise intimate wedding surrounded by all of their closest family and friends. Shocked was an understatement when everyone learned that what they were attending was not only a celebration of Victoria and George's engagement, but it was also a celebration for their marriage! I'm all about surprises and seeing everyone's reaction was one word... priceless.
Overlooking the gorgeous city views, Victoria and George exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in front of friends and family. Tears were flowin', laughs were exchanged and it was a beautiful ceremony to have shared with all of their guests. After their brief ceremony they were officially pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Curtis - yassssss!!!!
Beyond belief, the surprises kept coming. The inside of their rented out space had been converted to a beautiful reception area to celebrate the newlyweds. Gorgeous floral centerpieces, lit candles and the view of the twinkling city lights made it a wedding night you could never forget. The night was spent eating delicious food, creating long lasting memories and celebrating the newlyweds in this surprise intimate wedding here in NYC.
